Dull-blue Flycatcher (Eumyias sordidus)


A beautiful and poorly named uncommon endemic usually found in mid hills and above and occasionally in lower elevations. Mostly found in pairs and fairly territorial.Prefers well wooded or forest areas. Also called as Dusky Blue Flycatcher
Sings beautifully soft and sweet.

Coloration/ ID - Ashy blue with grayish white belly.Black lores and  cobolt blue shiny forehead.Sexes alike unless female is sightly duller than the male.Juvenile is brown with buff spots.
